Archiving Policy
Archiving System
We use Open Journal Systems (OJS) to manage and publish our content. OJS is a robust platform that offers several features for digital preservation, including regular backups and secure storage.
LOCKSS
We have implemented the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, which creates a distributed network of partner libraries to ensure that the content published in our journal is preserved in the long term. This system allows multiple copies of the content to be stored in different locations, ensuring recovery in the event of data loss or catastrophic failure.
Backup Procedures
We perform regular backups of all published data and content. These backups are stored in geographically distributed locations to increase security and redundancy.
Access and Recovery
All archived content is freely and permanently accessible through our website. Should data recovery be necessary, our team is prepared to quickly restore access to the content.
Preservation Policy
Our preservation policy is reviewed regularly to incorporate new technologies and best practices. We are committed to continually improving our processes to ensure that content published on AIJSHS remains accessible and intact for future generations.
AIJSHS values the trust placed in us by authors, reviewers, and readers, and is committed to ensuring that our digital collection is preserved securely and accessible indefinitely.
