Conflict of interest

Conflict of interest policy
We recognize that conflicts of interest may arise at different stages of submission, review and publication of scientific articles. Therefore, we have implemented clear guidelines to identify, reveal and manage these conflicts, ensuring that all involved parties (authors, reviewers and editors) act in an ethical and responsible manner.

Authors
Authors must declare any possible conflict of interest that could influence the results or the interpretation of their investigation. These conflicts may include, among others, financial relationships, personal or professional relationships with organizations or individuals who may be perceived as influential. A declaration of conflict of interests must be included with the submission of the manuscript, detailing the nature of the conflict and how it was managed.

Reviewers
Reviewers must inform the editor of any conflict of interest that could compromise their ability to provide an impartial evaluation of the manuscript. This includes personal, professional or financial relationships with authors or with organizations involved in the investigation. If a significant conflict of interest is identified, the reviewer will be replaced by another who can provide an objective and impartial evaluation.

Editors
Editors are responsible for ensuring that the editorial process is carried out in a fair and transparent manner. You must declare any conflict of interest that could influence your editorial decisions. If an editor has a conflict of interest with a particular manuscript, he or she must delegate the responsibility for making decisions to another editor or member of the editorial board who does not have conflicts. Furthermore, editors must ensure that all declarations of conflict of interest from authors and reviewers are registered appropriately and considered when making editorial decisions.

This conflict of interest policy is designed to preserve confidence in the integrity of the editorial process and the scientific quality of our magazine. In promoting transparency and reporting, we seek to ensure that all published research is evaluated and presented in a fair and objective manner, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
